Episode 46 – Sunk Cost Fallacy in Gaming

This episode is something new for Bruce & Josh as it is conversation around a singular topic and its interactions within the gaming experience. This episode is all a researched conversation about the sunk cost fallacy which refers to people having a greater tendency to continue an endeavor once an investment in time, effort, or money has been made (Arkes & Blumer, 1985). Inspired by Bruce’s recent videos on the YouTube page and a recent play of For Sale by Josh in which he felt the pressure to keep bidding money to stay for a property card enabled this conversation and we hope you enjoy.

We are toying with having one of our 2 episodes a month being themed like this, let us know your thoughts!
