We also have my wife Caitlin. Hello everyone so yes. They’re going to be joining us for today’s episode because what is the holidays but time with family in time with friends and all those things wrapped up into one. So what we’re going to be doing today. Is something a little bit different in that is. We’re going to be sharing and not about unusually these heavier games or different game experiences. But we’re actually going to be talking through and sharing out some different memories and those games that really means means something to us Josh how about you kind of take it away and lead us off and tell us where the inspiration for this came from because this was your idea. Yeah so the the idea for this really came from spending some time with family over the Thanksgiving holiday I have a five year old nephew. You who has for the last year or so just falling in love with Games in general So you think a lot of candy land and and Disney Games those types of things that may not be the most enjoyable for for folks to play but I I decided a while back to hold onto a couple of kids games that have come across my way and he is now five years old and at an age he can in start to pick some of those up so I brought him a birthday present which was memo are by stronghold Games And this is a a memory style game that is Kind of trying to remember where all the cards are placed onto onto the board. And he’s just falling in love with it. We played three or four times while I was there for for Thanksgiving and apparently according to my sister-in-law has has forced them to play a at least a couple times a day ever since so You know I thought with that memory early in mind and and the idea of sharing this hobby with new folks who young and old may not be into the game hobby. I wanted to take take a chance to share some of those wider games with with our listeners. And that’s really something cool about Games is that it brings us together. Gather And Josh thanks for also building up a Gamer and training dappling said Caitlin has really fun story from just the other day of a game game that we got to actually play with my. I have a new niece as of a month ago. She’s adorable but also to nieces besides that I also have a five year old but it’s my niece east. Caitlyn warranty talk through the game experience. I think kind of piggybacking on John Johnson was saying we were at our niece’s house the other day and we’re playing plane and hanging out and all of that and I look on the table and there’s a box up pretty pretty princess says and I had a flashback of me as a kid playing this and I was just like we have to stop everything and play this right now and we played four games back with my nieces and it was so fun.
